Role OverviewProvides patient care services, cleans, maintains and stocks supplies and equipment in a variety of settings. The Technical Assistant demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate for the population assigned.
What You Will Do
Performs clerical, phlebotomy, safety attendant and other duties as assigned within their scope. Assists/provides patient care throughout the entire patient experience under the direct supervision of the physician and/or the registered nurse.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The Technical Assistant will receive assignments as delegated by the RN and will be able to access data reflective of the patient’s status and report the information needed to identify each patient’s needs relative to this information.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Certification from Virginia Board of Nursing - preferred
