Role OverviewThe Technical Commodity Manager will liaise with stakeholders to ensure a robust sourcing strategy for Sandisk flash products, while ensuring continuity of supply and best-in-class components in BOMs. This role requires technology expertise to develop a supply base strategy and drive supply base strategy by BOM screen at product design stage. The Technical Commodity Manager will provide expert technical support to the supplier/technology selection process and ensure qualified suppliers or components are meeting Sandisk technical requirements, quality requirements, and green policy requirements.
What You Will Do
The Technical Commodity Manager will drive a robust sourcing strategy at NPI phase for all Sandisk flash products, ensure continuity of supply, and propose 2nd sources or replacements. This role will also involve reviewing suppliers' technology roadmaps, ensuring suppliers are meeting Sandisk technical requirements, and providing expert technical support to the supplier/technology selection process.

Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in Engineering or Science with equivalent experience
- Min 4 years of professional experience, expert on electronic components, IC, and project management
- Relative experience as technical commodity management, product development, quality management, or field application engineering is a must
- Hardware design experience is a plus
