Job Description
Technical Communication Director to lead the company-wide effort to elevate the documentation experience, unify standards, and enable the distributed community of technical writers across dozens of product teams. The role will own the UX and Digital Experience (DX) strategy for documentation and lead Bentley’s Documentation Community of Practice (CoP).

Requirements

  • Experience leading technical communication, documentation, UX, or content strategy across multiple products or teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence distributed writers and drive convergence across diverse platforms and toolchains.
  • Expertise in information architecture, structured content, metadata, and documentation standards.
  • Strong stakeholder management and change‐leadership skills; able to lead through influence.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted documentation workflows and content models designed for AI readability.
  • Experience building or running a content-focused Community of Practice is highly valued.
