Job Description
The Technical Crew Member at the Palm Springs Plaza Theatre will support behind-the-scenes operations, including load-in, setup, and strike of productions and events. This hourly position reports to the Technical Director and focuses on lighting, sound, scenery, and projection equipment, providing hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. The role offers a regular part-time position with benefits.

Requirements

  • Assist with load-in, setup, and strike of productions and events.
  • Operate and/assist with lighting, sound, projection, and stage equipment.
  • Maintain backstage areas, tools, and equipment in safe and working conditions.
  • Follow cues and instructions from stage management and technical directors.
  • Uphold safety protocols.
  • Provide friendly and professional support to visiting artists and production teams.
