Job Description
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Technical Denials Management Specialist II to review, research, and resolve claim denials and appeals for various insurance companies. The successful candidate will identify payment trends to maximize collections.
Requirements
Analyzing payer denials by denial groupers and submitting appeals.
Contacting patients and/or third-party payers to resolve outstanding insurance balances and underpaid claims.
Making necessary adjustments as required by plan reimbursement.
Functioning as a liaison between clinical departments and MSRDP management team.
Completing special projects as assigned.
Performing other duties as assigned.
