Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our Sleepwear team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the technical development process from design handoff through production, ensuring that all sleepwear styles meet our brand’s standards for fit, construction, and quality.
What You Will Do
Participate in and lead fit sessions, prepare and maintain detailed tech packs, communicate with overseas offices and vendor partners, track sample progress, and ensure adherence to the Product Lifecycle Calendar and key development deadlines.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You will collaborate closely with Design, Production, and overseas vendors to translate creative concepts into well-fitting, commercially viable garments. You will also support continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline technical and communication workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Design, Fashion Design, or a related field
- 5–7 years of technical design experience in women’s or men’s sleepwear, intimates, or soft apparel required
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric performance, patternmaking, and grading
- Proven ability to fit on live models and provide clear, actionable direction to patternmakers and vendors
- Proficiency in PLM systems, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite
