Technical Lead - Technology R&D

As a Technical Lead embedded within Signant Health's R&D group, you will be a hands-on architect and builder, leading sprint development, guiding build teams through complex technical challenges, and serving as the go-to engineering expert on the team.

What You Will Do

Lead sprint development, design and develop high-level technical architectures, build reusable components, conduct proof-of-concepts, collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, and develop complex automated workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong problem-solving skills with good judgment on when to escalate

• Composed under pressure with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
• Proactive, team-oriented, and energized by building things that matter
• Hands-on experience integrating AI tools and agentic coding workflows throughout the SDLC
• Proven track record leading development efforts from initial scoping through product delivery
• Strong experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms for enterprise-scale data strategies
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining a serverless central data platform
• Expertise in serverless infrastructure design on cloud platforms
• Advanced skills working with large datasets for ETL/ELT pipelines
• CI/CD-first mindset with experience building automated deployment pipelines
