Job Description
The Data Center Infrastructure Specialist supports Bloomberg’s Network Engineering Operations Group, which manages the company’s global network infrastructure and colocation environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in data center operations, ideally in colocation environments
  • Proven expertise in vendor acquisition, contract negotiation, and performance management
  • Strong knowledge of rack/cabling, power and space management, sustainability, and facilities systems (UPS, generators, cooling, AC/DC)
  • Proficient in ticketing systems, SLA tracking, and operations performance reporting
