Role OverviewThis position is located in the Customer Service Division of the Utilities Department within the City of Oklahoma City. The position is primarily responsible for performing work of a technical nature that varies depending on the program to which assigned.
What You Will Do
Examples of duties may include: providing technical assistance in solid waste collection activities or line maintenance collection or distribution duties; working independently to read water meters for utility billing; driving/operating/transporting materials and equipment; performing herbicides and/or pesticides application; driving, operating, and removing, pruning, maintaining and preparing trees for relocation; providing technical assistance or performing technical support functions.

Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age at the time of application submission
- possess a valid driver license (Operator)
- possess a Class A or B Commercial Driver License (CDL) may be required for positions located in the Utilities Department
- possess a Class A Commercial driver license (CDL) is required for positions located in the Parks and Recreation Department
