Job Description
The Technical Specialist works in conjunction with Facilities Management to facilitate the flow of information and system knowledge, providing technical support to areas in transition to ownership and assisting with coordinating efforts between Facilities Management and external participants.

Requirements

  • Providing technical support to areas in transition to ownership
  • Assisting with coordinating efforts between Facilities Management and external participants
  • Evaluating, developing and implementing process improvement goals and objectives
  • Recognizing and escalating critical issues to management immediately
  • Assisting with documentation of existing systems
  • Interfacing with building automation and electronic systems
  • Identifying non-standard systems and products and relaying to appropriate FM groups or work units
  • Participating in the Commissioning and Retro-Commissioning process
  • Participating in Operational Readiness Team assigned responsibilities
