Job Description
Technical Support Specialist (BTS) for Bloomberg Financial Solutions, responsible for delivering technical solutions to new and existing clients, learning about Bloomberg's backend technical infrastructure, and providing support over phone, chat, email, and in-person.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a Technical Support role
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows and macOS environments
  • Familiarity with common software applications such as MS Office, antivirus programs, and other enterprise applications
  • Understanding of hardware components and configuration of various systems
  • Understanding of network protocols and tools
  • Practical experience with networking principles
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrates ownership and taking initiative, and accountability
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and ability to handle customer issues with empathy
