Job Description
The Work Controls Technician position provides project oversight on Computer Maintenance System customizations/enhancements, technical support for maintenance shop crewpeople on tablets/iPads, and support for BGMS Director and Facility Master Planner on utilization of Computer Maintenance System.

Requirements

  • Asset management in Computer Maintenance System and equipment warranty database for all shops.
  • Work with Facility Master Planner on asset alignemnt with Facility Condition Assessment (FCA)
  • Preventative Maintenance (PM) work order management in Computer Maintenance System for all shops.
  • Manage contractors as active users of Computer Maintenance System.
  • Set up and deploy tablets/iPads to shop crewpeople
  • Organize and facilitate Computer Maintenance System configurations/customizations with specific team
  • Inventory management in Computer Maintenance System
  • Maintain databases, spreadsheets, letters/memos, and presentations
  • Research data and generate routine monthly reports as requested
  • Provide additional system administrative support to Computer Maintenance System when needed
  • Work order desk support
  • Post materials and labor costs to work orders, close work orders daily
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
