Job Description
Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot and maintain Mechanical Packaging equipment at customer sites, with responsibilities including diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance, as well as interacting with customers and making joint sales calls.

Requirements

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance and repairs at customer locations.
  • Order and install replacement parts for machines.
  • Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently.
  • Make necessary modifications; implement test runs; and make additional alterations to machinery as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and service calls.
  • Make equipment recommendations to customers.
  • Comply with company procedures and safety standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
