Job Description
Intertek is looking for a Technician II to join their Electrical team in Arlington Heights, IL. The Technician II will provide technical support for engineering staff, including performing duties related to testing, and will be responsible for performing electrical/performance testing on a variety of products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years directly related experience
  • Ability to utilize basic shop equipment and various hand tools
  • Ability to review, understand, and convey technical information in an effective manner
  • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written formats
  • Microsoft Office software expertise, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A valid driver's license and reliable driving record
