Job Description
The Technician II performs preventive maintenance on Intelligent Transportation System devices on various Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), county, and city contracts and customer equipment.

Requirements

  • Basic computer and networking experience
  • FDOT approved TTC certification
  • Knowledge of how to request and perform Utility Locates
  • Use of a digital multimeter for servicing equipment
  • Use of hand and power tools to install equipment into various buildings, cabinets, and racks.
  • Windows TCP/IP setup
  • Remote computer system management
  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams & construction plans.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware
