The role involves operating a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes, loading and delivering household appliances, and providing exceptional customer service.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include operating a 26 ft box truck, loading and delivering appliances, safely handling equipment, connecting basic water lines and electrical components, using mobile devices to confirm deliveries, and performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills, comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps, and experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles. Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical is a plus.
Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment
- Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical
