Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technician-Truck Engine to diagnose and repair Caterpillar truck engines, industrial engines, and generator rebuilds at our Billings, MT location. The ideal candidate will have industrial engine experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively with a variety of people.

Requirements

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, powertrains, and electrical systems
  • Experience with CAT diagnostic equipment, CAT repair tooling, rigging, and blocking equipment
  • Ability to work on multiple projects as assigned and plan and organize skills with a particular emphasis on controlling job costs
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to utilize internal software and other software programs
  • Valid driver's license
  • Electrical Troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, hoists, cranes, pressure washers in a safe manner
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook)
