Role OverviewWorks on technical assignments relative to selected areas of design, analysis, testing, production planning or manufacture of very complex technology. Has technical responsibility for interpreting, researching, planning, executing, and coordinating assignments that are given in terms of broad general objective. May act as a lead person for other technologists mutually working on the same project. Makes recommendations or decisions on problems and methods to resolve important questions to plan and coordinate work.
What You Will Do
Plans and directs the efforts on a project or projects of major significance. Has lead responsibility for maintaining and improving the process of a major program. Develops processes, materials, and/or equipment and fixtures as well as lead problem investigations in any related area. Keeps abreast of new technical/non-technical methods and developments in area of expertise and/or assigned areas of responsibility for purpose of recommending modifications and improvements.
