Role OverviewAs a Technology Designer at HDR, you'll help design integrated low voltage systems, calculate electrical power loads, and write specifications for low voltage technology systems. You'll work as part of a project team, assisting other designers and project coordinators as needed. You'll also conduct QA/QC on the work of other project coordinators or technicians.
What You Will Do
Design integrated low voltage systems, calculate electrical power loads, determine UPS requirements, and design system-related single line diagrams. Write specifications covering all low voltage technology system matters and perform reviews. Work directly with owners as a part of a project team.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in low-voltage system design
- RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) certification
- Familiarity with MS Project, MS Visio, Autodesk
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
