Role Overview

As a Technology Designer at HDR, you will help design critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. You will work with a team of mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering experts to solve complex design challenges with precision, creativity, and collaboration.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include evaluating and applying state-of-the-art low voltage technology systems, understanding technology infrastructure systems, and assisting in preparation of construction documents and specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) certification is helpful
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, BlueBeam, Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM360, Procore, Newforma
