Role Overview

The Technology Facilitator will work with students in the computer lab on a daily basis, collaborating with teachers and the Instructional Leadership Team to implement instructional activities that support and enhance the essential curriculum. The role requires strong computer literacy skills, understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and instructional software, and the ability to manage a computer lab environment.

What You Will Do

The Technology Facilitator will set up and manage all instructional software programs in the computer lab, troubleshoot and maintain the computer lab hardware, and assist teachers in understanding the instructional uses of software and setting up and implementing instructional activities in the computer lab.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree or 60 college credit hours required.
  • Strong Computer literacy skills.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and instructional software, and the ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to manage a computer lab environment.
  • Good human relations skills.
  • Ability to work well with elementary students and teachers.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with others, follow up and work independently.
