Job Description
Bloomberg's Legal & Compliance Department is seeking a Technology Licensing and Commercial Transactions Counsel to join their in-house legal department. The role involves reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including technology transactions, software licensing, and media-related agreements. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as an attorney negotiating and drafting software licenses and technology-related services agreements, and advising on intellectual property and licensing issues.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in New York and in good standing
  • 5+ years' experience as an attorney negotiating and drafting software licenses, technology-related services and media-related agreements, and other types of commercial contracts, as well as advising on intellectual property and licensing issues
  • Superior writing, analytical and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
