Job Description
Join the KPERS Team as a Technology Support Consultant I, delivering reliable, secure, and user-focused technology services to support public employees. At KPERS, technology exists to support people and critical public services.
Requirements
Proficiency in supporting Microsoft Windows environments and Active Directory
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable language for non-technical users
Ability to independently research emerging technical issues and propose effective hardware/software solutions
Strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and maintaining positive working relationships under pressure
Ability to lift, carry, and install PC equipment
Six months of experience in advising and assisting computer users in a distributed computing environment, or associate degree or certification in Computer Science or a related field with three months of experience
