Role OverviewThe Office of Commercialization is seeking a Technology Transfer Compliance Associate to join its Commercialization Compliance team. This position is well suited for a paralegal or other professional with experience or interest in intellectual property, patent prosecution, docketing, and portfolio management who wants to apply those skills in a university research and technology-transfer environment.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities will include coordinating patent drafting and prosecution activities; monitoring, communicating, and helping manage patent filing and prosecution deadlines; assisting with patent filings and related documentation; maintaining accurate intellectual property and patent records; coordinating with inventors, internal team members, and outside patent counsel; managing the review and approval process for patent annuities and maintenance fees; and supporting intellectual property-related compliance requirements.

Requirements
- Associate's Degree
- Three (3) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement
