Role OverviewThe Teen Program Staff will create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for middle school-aged youth, helping them connect with peers, build confidence, and develop new skills. This role involves actively engaging with participants, facilitating recreational, enrichment, social, and leadership activities, and serving as a positive role model.
What You Will Do
The Teen Program Staff will help create a safe environment, actively engage with participants, lead activities, and maintain a well-managed program environment. They will also assist with participant check-in/out, maintain accurate attendance, and help with program setup, cleanup, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old and a high school senior, or age 18 or older
- Experience working with middle school-aged youth through employment, volunteering, camp, coaching, mentoring, childcare, or similar activities preferred
- Ability to engage and build positive relationships with middle school-aged youth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, responsible, and able to serve as a positive role model
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow YMCA supervision, safety, and youth protection requirements
