Role OverviewAs a Teens Make Health Happen Mentor, you will empower middle and high school students to make healthier choices for themselves and their families. You will lead the health and wellness club, Teens Make Health Happen, in area schools and support teens in planning and leading wellness programming.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include developing strong relationships with teen wellness leaders and site partners, assessing school needs and progress, managing Teens Make Health Happen Clubs, and sharing program highlights through social media.

Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate college student majoring in public health, public policy, biology, nutrition, marketing, psychology, education, social work, or related fields
- Good academic standing with university
- Commitment of 8+ hours each week to the mentorship for the entire Spring semester
- Ability to travel to assigned sites (up to 20 miles)
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
