Role OverviewM9 Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Foreman to work onsite in support of a government contract for a client located in Chantilly, VA. The Telecommunications Foreman will be responsible for installing communications cabling and equipment in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
What You Will Do
The Telecommunications Foreman will perform quality assurance checks of the team's work to ensure cable installation is performed within all applicable requirements. They will also maintain a clean working environment and participate in daily job site cleanup.

Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in related Telecommunications experience
- BICSI certification (Installer 1 for copper certification)
- Manufacturer certifications and/or Fiber Certification
- Experience in & knowledge of telecommunications installation in complex markets
- Ability to pass basic telecommunications knowledge test
- Strong communications, time management, and organization skills
- Ability to sketch rack, floor & wall elevations
- Previous working experience in Terminating, Testing & Troubleshooting of Horizontal Copper (Cat 5, Cat 6)
- Previous experience installing various types of Low-Voltage Cabling
- Understanding of Installation, Inspection, Terminating, Testing and Troubleshooting of ISP/OSP Telecommunications Systems (Fiber Optics, Category 5, 6, 6A & Associated Equipment)
- Ability to lead the installation of cable from Telecommunications Rooms (TR) to work area outlets (WAO)
- Knowledge & understanding of different color codes & strong familiarity with TIA & EIA Standards
- Ability to label & test Horizontal Cable as required for the position
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
