Job Description
Responsible for receiving emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching resources, and maintaining situational awareness in a fast-paced airport environment. Requires multitasking, effective communication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and security of protected information.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and a United States Citizen
  • Pass Department of Criminal Justice Basic Telecommunications Course (new recruits)
  • Maintain LINK/NCIC certifications
  • Maintain Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) certification
  • Maintain Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance
  • Obtain and maintain position appropriate NIMS and emergency training
