Role OverviewWe're hiring a Telematics Installer at our rental facility in Framingham, MA, to install and repair our telematics system and devices. The role involves installing and repairing telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, and customer assets. The Telematics Installer will work through various installation scenarios, ranging from basic to complex, and identify and resolve problems. The role requires travel to client sites or various EquipmentShare rental yards through the region for installation cases.
What You Will Do
Install telematics systems and devices, remove and replace ignition systems, integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems, identify and resolve problems, and travel to client sites or EquipmentShare rental yards for installation cases.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Trade School Certificate preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude, good with your hands and with tools
- Hard-working, eager to learn and mechanically inclined
- Experience in a related field, e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer, etc
- Clean driving record and be able to pass a background check
- Must be open to traveling within a 250 mile radius of our local branch for up to a week at a time
- Must be able to drive, maneuver in tight spaces, bend, squat, walk long distances and lift more than 25 lb
- Telematics Installers may be required to be clean shaven in order to enter worksites for EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement
