Role OverviewAssist medical and nursing staff in monitoring patient ECG rhythms, maintain monitoring equipment, and perform clerical duties.
What You Will Do
Monitor patient ECG rhythms, initiate tracing if changes occur, and alert nursing personnel. Perform clerical duties, such as transcribing orders and entering patient information.

Requires high school graduate or equivalent, previous hospital experience preferred, and knowledge of medical terminology. Must be able to complete a three to four week program in basic cardiac arrhythmia monitoring.

- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- Six months of prior job experience with substantial computer usage
- Knowledge of medical terminology (e.g., completion of medical terminology/transcription course)
- Ability to complete a three to four week program in basic cardiac arrhythmia monitoring
