Teller I

Requirements

• Receive, pay out cash, and handle negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals and transfers.
• Set up, close and balance teller station.
• Record sales of monetary instruments.
• Assist customers with inquiries in person or by telephone.
• Maintain neat and well stocked teller area.
• Cross sell bank products and services.
• Follow limits established for protection of customer accounts and bank safety and soundness.
• Adhere to bank policies and procedures.
• Lift coin bags up to 50 lbs.
• Assist with balancing Vault, ATM, Night Drop, and Coin Machine.
• Exercise judgment when applying holds and making check cashing decisions.
• Cross train to be available to open basic new consumer accounts.
• Adhere to work schedule.
• Maintain positive, friendly and professional attitude and appearance.
• Work an alternative location within the region or market if required.
• Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
