Role OverviewThis position is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for the traveling public, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and City of Austin employees, and the neighboring community by recognizing and responding to violations of local, state, and federal laws and ordinances. Inspect facilities and ensures safe operating conditions. Investigate problem areas and make recommendations for corrective action.
What You Will Do
Respond to emergencies, makes decisions and coordinates emergency activities, and implements emergency plans. Research information as requested / needed. Write technical reports. Works with federal agencies, and airport tenants as required ensuring the safety, security and efficiency of airport operations.

Requirements
- Graduation with an associate degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business or Public Administration, Aviation Management, or in a field related to the job.
- Two (2) years of experience in the U.S. Military Services, airport operations, or in another field related to the job.
- Valid Texas Class C Driver License.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, and obtain and maintain federally-mandated security clearances required to work at an airport.
