Job Description
Kendal at Hanover is seeking a Temporary full-time Float Teacher to work for approximately six months. Teachers at Kendal assist in the daily operation and coordination of the Child Care Center, providing children with a learning environment and experiences to help their development socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally.

Requirements

  • Interacting with children in a warm, friendly, and affectionate manner
  • Responding to behaviors in a calm, sensitive, and supportive fashion
  • Have meaningful conversations and interactions with children, family, and coworkers
  • Assisting children as they explore their environment and interactions
  • Assuring children's basic needs are met daily
  • Completing daily tasks including health safety cleanliness and documentation as needed
  • Responding quickly and calmly in emergency situations following guidelines
  • Complete a NH/VT Child Care Licensing background check
