Role OverviewMindrift is running a research study on how people use their phones, apps, and everyday digital tools, and how that differs across languages and cultures.
What You Will Do
Spend 1-3 days with our research team in Midtown Manhattan, walk us through how you use your phone and favourite apps in daily life, share examples of your everyday phone activity with the research team, and fill in a short questionnaire about your habits.
Why It Might Be a Fit
A native Arabic speaker who grew up in the UAE, uses Arabic in everyday life, has used a smartphone as their main personal phone for 3+ years, and is comfortable communicating in English.

- 18+ and currently living in NYC
- A native Arabic speaker who grew up in the UAE
- You use Arabic in everyday life: texting friends, email, notes
- You've used a smartphone as your main personal phone for 3+ years
- Comfortable communicating in English
