Role OverviewThe Temporary Teacher (9-12 Spanish) will be responsible for the instruction, progress, and discipline of all pupils in assigned classes. The teacher will perform related duties as required, including instructional planning, evaluating pupils' progress, and maintaining current and accurate records of pupils' achievements.
What You Will Do
The teacher will implement instructional methods, provide bulletin board and interest areas reflective of pupils' current work, and participate in programs to improve student attendance. The teacher will also establish and maintain reasonable rules of conduct within the classroom and on school grounds.

Requirements
- Successful completion of all student teaching requirements
- All course work required to obtain the appropriate teaching certificate(s) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education
- Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education
- Knowledge of subject matter consistent with state certification requirements
- Contemporary principles and practices of teaching
- Classroom and behavior management techniques
