Job Description
The Simons Foundation is seeking a Temporary-to-Permanent Hospitality Specialist to assist with the general operations of office pantries and the staff dining room. The role involves cleaning, organizing, and stocking supplies, as well as managing inventory and placing orders. This is a full-time position with a rotational schedule of eight hours and is expected to last for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Requirements

  • Keep the pantries, shelves, refrigerator, and floors thoroughly clean, dusted, and organized
  • Unload and load commercial dishwashers
  • Organize and clean multiple pantries
  • Keep track of inventory
  • Place orders for all office locations
  • Unpack and stock food supplies from Fresh Direct and multiple vendors
  • Place and accept Grubhub lunch and dinner orders
  • Support breakfast and lunch services Monday through Friday, and Tuesdays and Thursdays dinner coverage
  • Perform data entry of employee lunch orders on a weekly basis
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Reply to email, telephone, and in-person inquiries while maintaining professional communication
  • Design and upload presentation slides to television monitors using Trilby system
  • Update and backup laptops monthly
  • Submit expense reports through Concur
  • Create signage as needed for pantries and the 11th floor dining room
