Role OverviewFraser is seeking a passionate and committed individual for the role of Tenant Advocate. The Tenant Advocate will provide support for residents at our Independent Living Court located in Bloomington, MN or Apple Valley, MN. This is a live-in position where you are still able to work another job, as well as provide 15 flexible hours each week toward Tenant Advocate duties.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include responding to questions, concerns, and emergencies of tenants, assisting tenants with problem-solving, planning and facilitating activities with tenants, and maintaining records and documentation.

Requirements
- BA/BS in Human Services or related field, preferred.
- At least six months of experience working with people who have developmental disabilities or related conditions required, with one or more years of experience preferred.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion with focus on culturally responsive practice, internal self-awareness and reflection
- Valid Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable record required.
- Ability to pass DHS background study.
- Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs.
- Ability and willingness to use tools & equipment, including snow-blowers and shovels.
