Job Description
We invite applications for tenure-track faculty in biostatistics to join the Temple University Barnett College of Public Health Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Areas of interest include spatial statistics, high-dimensional and big data, Bayesian statistics, and learning algorithms. The successful candidate will participate as a member of the Department’s Biostatistics Core, which offers comprehensive biostatistical consultation and computational services. Tenure-track faculty are expected to engage in research, teaching, and service, with research being their primary focus.

Requirements

  • A doctorate in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field is required.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in the areas of interest listed above.
  • Faculty will be hired at the rank of assistant professor.
  • Preferred candidates currently hold the rank of assistant professor or are completing/have recently completed a postdoctoral position with external funding.
