Job Description
The Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is offering full-time, tenure track faculty positions at all academic levels to individuals pursuing laboratory based or human subject research. The Institute is particularly interested in individuals studying neural circuit biology or molecular and cellular mechanisms of neurodegeneration, including neuroimmune factors in relation to neurodegenerative diseases or mood disorders.

Requirements

  • Prospective faculty members must have a specialization in one of the areas named above.
  • Candidates should possess a Ph.D. and/or M.D. and have experience in a related field.
  • Candidates whose career includes clinical care must have or be able to obtain a Texas Medical License.
  • A two page summary of research accomplishments and future research direction must be submitted.
  • Three letters of recommendation must be submitted.
