Role OverviewThe Terminal Operator is responsible for safe and efficient loading and unloading of tank trucks, rail cars, barges, and ships with a variety of specialty chemicals.
What You Will Do
Control and monitor transfers of bulk liquid fine chemicals, physically establish connections between transfer lines, vessels, barges, rail cars, and trucks, and perform daily operating functions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience in field operations, preferably in the chemical or Petro-Chemical industry, and possess professional safety training and/or experience in industrial firefighting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in field operations, preferably in the chemical or Petro-Chemical industry
- Professional safety training and/or experience in industrial firefighting
- Valid Driver’s License
- TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credentials) for access to IMTT’s terminal locations
