Job Description
The Territory Manager is responsible for overseeing an assigned service territory, supervising route representatives, and promoting a safety culture. The role involves creating a pervasive sales culture, managing customer service programs, and recruiting and selecting Route Sales employees. The Territory Manager must have strong interpersonal, analytical, communication, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to interface with various organizational functions and negotiate with customers.

Requirements

  • Promote and sustain a safety culture
  • Effectively evaluate, coach, and develop Route Sales Representatives (RSRs)
  • Create a pervasive sales culture that fosters team selling
  • Manage day-to-day activities of customer service program(s) for the territory
  • Visit all required customers each quarter to review growth and service opportunities
  • Negotiate and secure renewal agreements with existing customers
  • Recruit, select and hire Route Sales employees
  • Delivers and participates in training to ensure customer retention and service goals are met
  • Investigates and reports on all accidents or incidents within 24 hours of notification
