Role Overview

The Territory Sales and Service Manager will be responsible for contacting and developing sales leads, closing sales within a protected geographic territory. The role involves researching markets, determining primary decision makers, and making sales presentations to current and prospective customers.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting for cold and warm leads, articulating sales presentations, and working with customer relationship management software. The role also involves maintaining and growing valued current customers, interfacing with the Inside Sales department, and establishing contact with sales prospects.

Requirements

  • Mechanical background in tangible products (especially lawn and garden equipment)
  • Dealer development and management background
  • Ability and security to demonstrate outdoor power equipment
  • Prospecting – cold and warm leads
  • Written and verbal communication skills – the ability to articulate clearly
  • Computer literate using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and CRM (SalesLogix)
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Clean driving record and comfortable towing a trailer with demo products
  • Navigate vehicle safely in assigned territory on a daily basis
