Test Engineer, Contractor

Requirements

• Gather requirements from Engineering for new rig test data needed
• Lead a cross-functional team to design and assemble rigs, create instrumentation plans and integrate instrumentation
• Update data acquisition systems for specific tests
• Support design reviews
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews
• Create test procedures for rig operation
• Provide technical direction and daily task coordination, cross functional team leadership, subsystem troubleshooting, and test stand direction
• Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments, lead root cause and corrective action efforts based on learnings
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated consistent with engineering best practices
• Work with suppliers to procure hardware and resolve producibility and quality issues
