Job Description
The Department of Social Services is seeking a Computer Specialist (Software) IV to function as Tester/Analyst. The ideal candidate will conduct software quality assurance testing, provide test coverage for various projects, and work with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to develop test approaches and strategies. The role involves developing automation and performance test cases, plans, and conditions, and working with project team leaders to ensure quality delivery of software applications.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science or a related field
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time software experience in designing, programming, debugging, maintaining, implementing, and enhancing computer software applications
  • One year of satisfactory experience in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project
  • Satisfactory combination of education and experience that is equivalent to the above requirements
