Role OverviewAs a Texas and Mexico Natural Gas Trader, you will support the growth and performance of ENGIE's Mexico natural gas portfolio by managing physical supply activity and financial price risk across Texas and cross-border markets.
What You Will Do
Manage physical and financial natural gas flat-price, basis, and index risk for the Texas and Mexico portfolio, purchase physical natural gas at U.S. receipt points, and develop and execute hedging strategies.

You will analyze natural gas supply, demand, infrastructure, market participants, and pricing dynamics to form short- and medium-term market views, and partner closely with origination and sales teams on pricing, transport capacity, supplier opportunities, and structured commercial activity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline
- A minimum of two years of natural gas trading or closely related commercial portfolio experience
- Working knowledge of Texas intrastate and interstate pipelines and U.S.-Mexico cross-border natural gas flow dynamics
- Strong knowledge of North American natural gas fundamentals, including supply, demand, infrastructure, basis, index, and price-risk drivers
- Experience supporting physical natural gas transactions and financial hedging strategies
- Proficiency with Excel and at least one analytical or programming tool such as SQL, VBA, or Python
