Job Description
The Browning School is a K-12 boys school located in midtown Manhattan, New York. The school is searching for a full-time Upper School Physics and Integrated Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or considerable experience in the role
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Expertise and experience in teaching physics and at least one of the other core strands of science (chemistry, biology, and earth science)
  • Ability to teach a full course load of multiple science courses in Grades Nine to Twelve
  • Ability to advise a group of students in the Upper School
  • Ability to develop and implement an inspiring curriculum in conjunction with department members
  • Ability to create strong relationships with students built on Browning's core values of honesty, dignity, curiosity, and purpose
