The City of Providence seeks an energetic and energized teacher for a 225-day position at Mount Pleasant Academy, a facility for children with emotional challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience working with special and regular education elementary students and be able to make a positive impact on the community.

Requirements

  • RI certification as Teacher of regular or special education (elementary) required
  • Experience with BD/ED children
  • Experience working with elementary-ages students
  • Computer literacy
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance also required
