Job Description
The Vice President, U.S. Licensing and Regulatory Affairs is responsible for leading Terrestrial Energy’s U.S. nuclear licensing and regulatory strategy in support of the deployment of IMSR Plants in the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science from an accredited university
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in nuclear licensing or regulatory affairs
  • Extensive direct interaction with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission
  • In-depth knowledge of 10 CFR Part 50 and Part 52 licensing frameworks
  • Demonstrated leadership of complex nuclear licensing programs
  • Experience managing licensing teams and coordinating multidisciplinary regulatory efforts
  • Strong technical understanding of nuclear reactor systems and safety analysis
  • Exceptional technical writing skills for regulatory submissions
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
