Role OverviewThe Theatre Director will possess the basics of theatre, dance, and/or music to run the MPRD summer musical theatre program. Must be able to manage large, diverse groups of children. Must be available Tuesday evenings during the school year.
What You Will Do
Block an entire children’s musical, work with and teach young children theatre techniques, create lesson plans/curriculum, communicate effectively with students, parents, and coworkers, and establish and maintain cooperative professional working relationships with others.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- One (1) year of college education with courses taken in Theatre or Education
- Work/volunteer experience with school-age children
- Experience with musical theatre and past directing
- Knowledge of basic theatre techniques
- Must pass a background check
