Role Overview

The Department of Developmental Disabilities is a trauma-informed care agency focused on implementing core values and providing support to people with developmental disabilities. Therapeutic Program Workers assist residents with daily living skills and help them become more independent.

What You Will Do

Key tasks include assisting with eating, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, and communication, as well as implementing active treatment activities, planning and shopping activities, and completing daily documentation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with 5 or fewer points
  • Formal education in arithmetic, reading, writing, and speaking common English vocabulary
